Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. An Ashes themed beer. Copper gold with a small white head. Faint aroma: perhaps a little fruitiness. Taste is smooth, sweet and malty. Mid bitter finish. Simple, but quite acceptable.

On gravity at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 11/12/10. Sweetish, caramel and grapefruit aroma. Flavour had more creamy, sweet malts with plenty of citrus hops and a decent, bitter finish. Good.

Pours clear golden with a small, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has grass, light caramel and nuts. Light carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Great flavour, sweet caramel, some definite hazelnuts and a super, hoppy dry finish. Long, lingering hoppiness with pine, grass and grapefruit. Nice!
