Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’09. Dark brown with white head. This is what I tend to think of as a typical Northern Mild, drying, roasted malt, maybe a hint of caramel, but not as soft and fruity as the more southerly milds. I prefer this, with bitterness on the close. A decent Mild.

A Mes rate:
Gravicask @ Reading Beer Festival. Dark red / brown. Malty roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate caramel and mixed fruit. Lovely. Similar in the flavour with a bitter finish (almost a 7 truth be told). Very drinkable mild as it should be.
