Cask conditioned - handpump - Out Of The Vaults Leicester. A black coloured mild with a nice whitish head. Thea roma is a little thin but there is a roasty malt background. The taste is very tasty with good roasted malts and a slight lactose quality. Very good.

Cask, Whey Pat Ale Festival, St Andrews. Dark ruby brown with a thick beige head. Nose is malt, heavily toasted and some dark summer fruits, plums. Mouth is very caramely and more healthy amounts of malting, some espresso and a bit of hops for balance. Slips down easily, brilliant mild.

A Mes rate: Gravicask @ Reading Beer Festival. Dark red / brown. Malty roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate caramel and mixed fruit. Lovely. Similar in the flavour with a bitter finish (almost a 7 truth be told). Very drinkable mild as it should be.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London 27 Apr 2007) Dark brown with ruby notes, frothy off-white head. Roasted nose with notes of coffee, chocolate, dark fruit and citrussy hops. Roasted taste with chocolate, hints of coffee and some citrussy hops in the finish. Uncomplicated but tasty.

Some glue addict must have messed around with this quite a bit. Aroma was roasty, nutty malts. Tastw was similar one dimentional, dryish finish but a bit of a nothing ale. RERATE: Cask in Babity Bousters. Alround sweeter chocolate malts, but not too sweet, tasty and balanced, quite drinkable.
