A deep malt and hoppy aroma with liquorice throughout. Roast malt, friut and hops also carry through this full bodied stout.

Cask at the Kelham Island tavern, Sheffield. Malty aroma with a very bitter liqourice taste. In fact it's very bitter for a porter. That bitterness heads straight to the palate and I can't even begin to describe the aftertaste . The alcohol isn't overpowering either. A nice porter, but not really for a session. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
