Cask at The Vale Inn, Bollington. Dark amber, thin big bubbled off white head. This one bad condition maybe? I suspect it could have been, nearly everything I had here was a bit dodgy. Wasn’t impressed. Very watery and smelled like a gents toilet. Sorry, certainly not for me.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Out Of The Vaults, Leicester. A copper coloured beer with off-white bubbles for a head. All I can say is that the liberty hop must be pretty ordinary as this beer is the poorest I’ve had from this usually very reliable brewery. Very ordinary hops in the nose and mouth which linger in a watery background. The merest hint of orange fruit. It’s drinkable, hence overall score but it’s very disappointing.
