Cask - Market Porter, London. Poured golden with a fine, lasting and lacing white head. Toffee, bready malts, perhaps a bit buttery on the nose. Light fruits, caramel and a subtle yeasty, earthiness with lingering bitterness in the finish. Soft and easygoing on the palate, maybe a touch empty, with low carbonation.

Cask conditioned at The Wellington, Birmingham. Gold with white head. Light malty beer but with a dry, fruity character. Some drying, roasty notes. Pretty decent drinking, quite enjoyable.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Northants Beer Festival 2011. A golden beer with off-white bubbles. Fudgey sweetness dominates the nose and passes through to the mouth too where it’s joined by fruity flavours. Light in flavour and a strange interpretation of a mild.6
