Cask @ The Bear, Camberwell. Pale yellow colour with lasting frothy head. Hoppy floral aroma with some spice. Taste is citric, earthy, tart and a nice grapefruit late on. Nicely carbonated too. pretty enjoyable.

Cask at the Turf Tavern, Oxford, 01-06-08 Pours golden with white rim of bubbles, the aroma is like a slightly damp towel but to be fair there was some sweetness there as well. Taste is pleasant enough nice honey sweetness floods through, some bitterness, quite clean tasting and finishes with some hops and a slight dryness and almost a lagery character at the end.

Half of this best bitter on gravity at London Drinker BF 08, afternoon session. Pale amber body with a filmy layer and fragile lacing on the glass. Malty-hoppy aroma. In-depth flavour of hop resin and lingering bitterness to the finish. Medium mouthfeel (12.03.2008).

Cask @ The Bear, Camberwell, London. Aroma is skunky, hoppy, floral, spicy, pours a golden yellow beer with a firm head. The beer is light bodied and has visible lacing. Taste has hoppy, sweet, very tart, citrus and grapefruit notes. Quite nice, minimal cloying. The hops seem to simmer on the tongue. It is a good beer although there’s something missing...

Cask handpull at London Drinker BF 08. Gold, lasting off white head. Looks in good condition, yeast and citrus hop aroma, grassy. First beer of the day and a pretty good one. Biscuity malt, some farty yeast character, excellent condition and zippy. Rather pleasant, easy drinking. Hop zing has elderflower flavour.
