Cask, interval bar, Sheffield. Hazy gold, hop forward aroma of bready limes. Medium body, nectarine and sage come through on a long dry mouth puckering finish.

Cask handpull at Devonshire Cat Sheffield. Deepish gd slight haze. Lasting white head. Some floral hop on this. Some peachy flavour. Quite interesting. Peachy beer. Tasty enough and does the job

Overpowering grapefruit flavour at first blows everything else out the window, followed eventually by a very sharp long-lasting bitterness. Just too in your face for me but good stuff I guess, if it’s your thing.

Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, 31.10.11 Pours dark gold, almost darker than that in fact, there is a white head atop. Great depth of flavour some nice honey running with a superb bitterness, lovely bittersweet balance. Wonderful zesty, citrussy flavours, truly great beer. Wish I could have stopped for another. Cask conditioned Handpump Slug & Lettuce Leicester. A golden beer with a white bubbly head. A mixed aroma of sweetness and grass. Really interesting in the mouth. Lemongrass and some sweet toffee apple. Pretty complex and tasty with a long finish. Good flavours. Nice.
