Gravity dispense at Merton Winter BF ’13. Hazed golden amber with a thin bubbly white head. Nose carries light hops, sulphuric notes, touch of fruit - not the best in this department. Taste comprises pale malt, orange, lemon, citric flavours, hops. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Sub average - lacking balance!

Cask, gravity, Merton Winter Beer Festival Feb 2013 w/e of Friday 15th, Saturday 16th February 2013 Pours gold with mid sized white head. Well I have to say much like Hornbeam, Acorn have managed to come up with a distinctly ordinary beer here, to be fair to Acorn they are just showcasing the hops so maybe it is the hop that is the let down, not sure but this is far to run of the mill and safe. Not that crisp or refreshing in fact it is a little sweet and really quite forgettable. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Cask conditioned at Merton Winter Beer Fest ’13. Amber with white head. This came over as more of a malty bitter with a hint of dry vanilla rather than a hoppy IPA. Some sweetish hops and essentially ok, but seemingly a little different to advertised. Went for it twice to check.
