Cask at the Magpie & Crown, pours amber with a white mid-coarse head, grapefruit, hops and malt on the nose, then a rich and crisp malty body that starts dry on the tongue before filling out and adding herbal notes and just a little peach, all of which is swept away by a strongly bitter-dry grapefuit and pine aftertaste.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark gold with a small white head. Citric hop aroma. Taste is heavy, leathery citrus with plastic notes and a sharp bitter finish. Not my favourite, to be honest.
