maeib (4012), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Aug 15, 2006 Cask conditioned - handpump - Criterion Leicester. A golden beer with a white bubbly head. The aroma has good hop levels. These are citric with a sharpness akin to JHB. The taste is nicely hoppy, with lemon notes and a good bitterness. Add the extra chunk of alcohol and it becomes a really good beer.
leaparsons (4001), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Aug 28, 2008 Cask, Out of the Vaults, Leicester. Hazy gold with a white foam. Aromas are peppery with grapefruit and citrus. Flavours are caramel malts with citrus and grapefruit. Quite viscous but refreshing. haddonsman (1191), Derby, Derbyshire, England Aug 3, 2005 Handpulled at Babington (JDW) Derby. Clear lemon gold body, thick creamy head. Uncomplicated citirc aroma, lemon with a hint of lime. Smooth, never cloying. Keeps a sherbert sweetness on the roof of your mouth. Well crafted.
