A Mes rate: cask at the Market (no) Porter. Mid gold with a thin white head. Good hoppy aroma with plenty of citrus, good bitterness and a hint of sweaty feet. Flavour is similar. Really good, lasting fruity bitterness, possibly slightly raw but I’ll let it slide. Excellent dry finish with a lengthy bitter aftertaste. Decent stuff.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 harrisoni (10067) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 20, 2008
Cask at GBBF 08. Gold, thin off white head. I mean, it’s actually a pretty good golden ale, but it’s still a golden ale. Fruit salad aroma, nice mouthfeel, some drying hop, more juicy fruit on the swallow. But hey, as I said, like a thousand other golden/blond ales.
