Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany Jun 21, 2007 bottle, bought at the brewery. Unfiltered, therefore slightly hazy. Dark golden colour, nearly amber, large and beautifully creamy head, which is extremely long-lasting. Malty nose. Malty flavours, hints of roasted malt (hence the amber colour). Hoppy background, but not bitter. Also hints of caramel. Lovelly stuff.
