Almost black in colour with a beige head. Aromas are sweetened black coffee with some earthiness. Flavours are sweet, earthy and mellow - none of the chocolate or coffee flavours I was expecting. A bit bland.

Apr 14, 2008 Bottle @ Plan B, Copenhagen. BB 08/08. Pours dark brown with almost no head. Aroma is dusty malty, yeasty & very vinous. Plum & port. Smooth & soft - nearly no carbonation. Round, mild & sippable. Well aged!

Feb 17, 2008 Bottle Bikesandbeer’s brother Marty brought back from Belgium. Enjoyed with them on 1/4/08 when I was severly drunk. Pours brown with an off white thin head. Nose had hints of grape juice. Taste is sweet light and nice and quite tasty.
