bonkiedeaap (278) - Leerdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 27, 2014
Bottle from de Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has a deep dark blonde color and a small white head, carbonation is average. In the aroma tones of yeast, malts but also spices and some hop notes. The taste is light sweet and malty but further also a little bitter by the use of spices and malts. The finish is full and a slight bitterness is noticable for a while. Nice tripel, nothing special but not bad.

martjoobolut (789) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 13, 2014
0,33L bottle. BB 09.2017. Pours hazy golden with off-white head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is sweet, fresh fruits, some hops, and yeast. Flavor is sweet, fresh fruits, citrus, spices, yeast. Finish is sweet fruity and dry bitter. Overall: very nice, maybe a little bit too sweet.

McWorta (606) - LUXEMBOURG - SEP 12, 2014
Light ambered orange colour with a fine fading dark white head. On the nose aromas of herbs, spices, caramel malt and light earthy aromas develop. Unexpectedly light effervescent texture, sweet caramel, spice-herb flavours with a faint earthy prune note. Medium bodied with a light sweet and a bit dry finish.

suurjuust (1101) - ESTONIA - SEP 9, 2014
Hazy gold, white head. Nose is yeast, sugar, spicy notes, caramel, fruit. Flavor is sugar, toasty malt, fruity hints. Some hoppy bitterness in the finish along with booze and malty notes. Decent tripel.

KatL80 (17) - Britton, Michigan, USA - JUL 30, 2014
Massive amounts of hops are used to build a palate of flavors. This one is hints of mango, pineapple, banana, honey - but it’s hard to find the hops!

   AROMA 9/10   APPEARANCE 2/5   TASTE 9/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 13/20
blackisle (749) - IJburg, NETHERLANDS - JUL 24, 2014
Bottle 33cl. Cloudy medium golden color, small frothy white head, recedes quickly, leaves almost no layer, light lacing; aroma sweet malty, yeasty, orange peel, honey, candy sugar, herbs, alcohol; taste medium sweet, caramel, light bitter, yeasty; full body, oily to creamy texture; finish malty bittersweet with herbal and spicy notes, alcohol. Not your typical tripel because of the herbal impressions.

Alengrin (2065) - BELGIUM - JUL 16, 2014
The blonde counterpart of Adelardus Trudoabdijbier Bruin, added to the range in 2006. Creamy white, not very stable head on top of a deep golden beer (’old gold’) with little fizz. Nose gets honey, pear, banana, orange peel, elderberry flowers, coriander but also less appealing impressions of cardboard and iron; taste kicks off in a malty and fruity sweetishness, soft, rather thin mouthfeel, slightly spicy yeast, finish with some warming alcohol but falling a bit short in hops balance.

Hallucinant ...
