25 oz. Bottle. Great dubbel! Light citrus scent with bread, plum, and malt. Deep copper pour with a frothy head, carbo loaded! Light/med body. Spice fronted taste with a bready molasses middle and big malt aftertaste. Loved it!

A gift from friend Paul B; Thanks! Poured at a good temperature with a nice, thick, light tan colored, foamy head that lasts for a while and some lace. Color is a clear, dark honey amber with loads of bubble trails. Aroma is caramel, toffee, malt, yeast, wine, spice. Flavor’s like nose and has carbonic tang up front followed by sweet then the flavors and bitter. Also has circus peanuts, and cloves. Body and carbonation are good. Finish is like flavor, fairly long and a hint of alcohol warmth.

Batch 1 Bottle 976. Deep, hazy orange-amber with a big cream colored head that laces a little and fades pretty quickly. Mild aroma of plum, orange, bubblegum and caramel. Taste is yeasty and bitter and mildly sweet and spicy. Very drinkable and very nice tasting, but it’s all just a bit thin. Medium bodied, slightly dry, and mildly fizzy. I like it. It’s a little thin, but it’s much more easy drinking than a typical dubbel.
3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 9/20 Beerenberger (791) - Fischer, Texas, USA - OCT 3, 2012
Aroma is malt forward with sweet dried fruit being the predominant fragrance and hints of caramel. Pours a beautiful reddish copper with a long lasting off-white head and minimal lacing. Taste is medium sweet with notes of dark dried fruit, and caramel. There some nutty/alcohol notes in the finish. Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation and a medium lasting aftertaste. Overall, I liked this Dubbel. Nice work Adelbert.

2/25/12. On tap during RBWG 2012. Hazy orange pour with a small khaki head. Grainy, malty aroma with a bit of fruitiness and citrus. Slightly sweet, estery aspect with touches of banana and cream. Not too shabby.

bomber to glass; been awhile since I had a dubbel - this one looks different - lighter than most - orange amber hue with white head. I didn’t get a lot of aroma - slight citrus and spice. nice med. palate. Taste was that of a dubbel - solid; has a slightly dry finish. solid brew; my first from Adelberts

OK, everything about this beer screams Tripel not dubble, which almost makes me think they put it in the wrong bottle, but thats all I will say about that because its still a great beer.
Aroma is sweet and spiced like apples and pears with cinnamon. Color is a deep golden with nice white head. Fairly malty flavor but those spiced fruit flavors come through quite a bit. A great beer, however misleading.

A good beer. Cloudy orange and tan color. White foamy head. Bitter Belgian yeast aroma. Smooth yeasty bitter flavor that engulfs the taste buds. I like it. Its fizzy, refreshing and satisfying. I usually go on about good beer like this but don’t need to with this one. Its speaks for itself.
