This smooth ale tastes citrusy with yeasty notes and a hint of peppery spice. Its dry finish and mild carbonation make it perfect for pairing with grilled chicken, rich fish dishes, and cheeses like camembert and brie.

A saison with a Belgian twist. Citrus, fruity and floral aroma. Slight golden color with a fizzy white head. Full but light palate with good carbonation. Typical sweet and fruity saison flavors with a hint of caramel and spice from the yeast. It goes down easy with a hint of alcohol.

Bottle (750mL): Hazy, deep honey with thick head and excellent lace. Very lifted clean fruity beer. Off dry, not sour and medium low bitterness. Clean fruity palate. Lovely length, weight and fruity flavor. Very sound. High alcohol and so too hot and not refreshing. Classic over the top American Beverage when they almost had it right.

750 c&c from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma is spicy, grassy, citrus, earthy. Tickles the nostrils. Med body or better. Hits like a tripel, but ... Hmm.... Itís a spicy, earthy tripel sort of thing. Itís Belgian allover. Iím not sure this fits the alleged style, but itís very tasty stuff. Finishing like Grains of Paradise. And a sort of apple fruit ester. This is very unusual? Good tho!

Smell is yeasty must. Taste is dry thin and crisp. Very refreshing and better than expected. Quite drinkable. No hint of the higher alcohol content either.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a fluffy white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has notes of grass and sweet grains with a bit of light fruit underlying. Flavor is more sweet grains and sweet light fruit with some belgian spice and a hint of grass.

Hazy gold, with a little white head. Not much aroma, a little citrus. Citrus and yeast flavor. A little bitterness. Okay, but not great.

I actually forgot where this one came from as my Texas trip was just going from beer store to beer store. Anyway, it pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is slight saison funk, dry hops, some herbalness. Taste is similar. Slightly bitter and sufficiently hopped saison with citrus and spice notes. While I donít think that it is anything that special, I think that the rating it has here is somewhat too low.

A hazy copper-orange profile with a nice tan head, supplying healthy belgian lace. some slightly sticky resin hop aromatics, and rather citrusy from the get go. good carbonation with some light íbelgianyí sweetness upon first sip. The mouth-feel is dominated by medium bitterness that develops into a very VERY dry finish that lingers and is reminiscent of an extremely dry white wine. Many descriptions label this beer as a saison, but personally I thought it drank much more like a dry belgian style IPA. Worth a taste or two, but there are many superior counterparts out there.
