COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This smooth ale tastes citrusy with yeasty notes and a hint of peppery spice. Its dry finish and mild carbonation make it perfect for pairing with grilled chicken, rich fish dishes, and cheeses like camembert and brie.

Itís almost there and the ratings just reflect that. Saison seems to be a temperamental style thatís tough to get just right. Hopefully this brewery will try again.

Location: Draft at The Queen Vic, 9/10/13

Aroma: The nose of this one is yeast and a little spicy, pepper, some fruit, and mild alcohol
Appearance: The pour is orange with a decent head and some nice lace as well
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, yeast, spice, and fruit, not all that sweet, but a solid flavor
Palate: The feel of this one is solid, but not great, thereís a little heat, and some plus carbonation
Overall Impression: Wow, this one has a much lower score than I would have guessed. I thought this was a pretty tasty Saison. I guess Iíll be one of its higher raters.

Dark hazy orange. Funky, earthy notes over citrus and spice. Maybe a bit to much funk. Or not quite the right funk. Or something.

Tap at Gman Southlake. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a foamy white head. Aroma is very yeasty and citrusy. Lots of orange peel and bready yeast. Slight peppery smell as well. Flavor is citrus, yeast, sweet fruit with a alcohol tingle on the palate. Pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Batch 003. Bottle on 2/21/13. Dark golden pour with a fizzy white head. Nose is apple, esters, spices, bubblegum. Flavor is bubblegum, straw, nice bitterness, tons of esters, and hints of metal. Lively dry mouthfeel.
