750 ml bottle. Description says light straw yellow but I am staring at a murky amber with orange hues and a tan head, looks nice! Aroma is filled with malt and pleasant fruity esters of mango, banana with a slight black pepperiness. Flavor is much the same and sweet with a nice alcohol spiciness and subtle farmhouse. Mouthfeel is medium-heavy body with fizzy, soft carbonation. Overall, solid brew!!!!

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 dnstone (1991) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 2, 2012
Spiced sweet fruit (apple and pear) aroma. Hazed golden with white head (keg might not have quite settled yet). Apple-pear and spice comes through in the flavor as well with a slight alcohol finish. I like this one for its authenticity in that it is soft and not too malty.
Notes: On tap at the Off-Centered Film Fest, Austin ’12

On tap at the Big Texas Beer Fest.
The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of bread and white notes, with a little bit of yeast thrown in. The flavor is more of the same, with some wheat and grain coming through front and center. There is also a little bit of sweetness from the candy sugar, as well as a little bit of toasted character. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Hazed orange pour with watery head. Large bready yeast, wheat, and light brown sugar. Bread, abv, and rock candy. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

750 bottle. Pours hazy light copper/dull gold with very little head. Yeasty, grassy, wheat field aroma with a hint of spiciness and some heavy maltiness-no hops. Taste-I detect a hint of smokiness, with a heavy malt, grainy, wheaty flavor, with a thick, rich mouthfeel. A slight hint of sweetness with a firm body. I prefer my tripels a bit lighter but this is a decent, well done beer. I think on draft this would be excellent if the body was lightened up just a tad.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 kidmartinek (2466) - austin, Texas, USA - MAR 30, 2012
Light Belgian yeast aroma. Rich cloudy apricot color. Thin white head. Very smooth. Medium body. Rich malt taste but not overbearing. Really a good beer. Malt heads will love this one.
