4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Spot on with this Tripel, spicy, malty, smooth.. alcohol is hidden by a sweet finish maybe a little too sweet but still a great representation of the style especially from a brewery that has only been around since 2010. Pretty Good.....

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
From Rare Beer Club. A light hazy honey color. Really explosive floral taste. Manages to be effervescent and full-bodied at the same time. Very good tripel.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Batch 1 Bottle 1957. My bottle says abv 9.3%. As tripels go, this is a pretty dark beer. Itís reddish-caramel colored with a small, short-lived beige head. Aroma of toast, nuts, caramel, clove and Belgian yeast. The taste is yeasty and alcoholic, a little sweet and a touch bitter, mostly at the finish. Slightly dry, medium bodied, and a little boozy, this shares few of the qualities that Iíve come to expect in a tripel, but itís a pretty good beer in its own right. Iíd definitely have it again.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Spiced sweet fruit (apple and pear) aroma. Hazed golden with white head (keg might not have quite settled yet). Apple-pear and spice comes through in the flavor as well with a slight alcohol finish. I like this one for its authenticity in that it is soft and not too malty.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml bottle. Description says light straw yellow but I am staring at a murky amber with orange hues and a tan head, looks nice! Aroma is filled with malt and pleasant fruity esters of mango, banana with a slight black pepperiness. Flavor is much the same and sweet with a nice alcohol spiciness and subtle farmhouse. Mouthfeel is medium-heavy body with fizzy, soft carbonation. Overall, solid brew!!!!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours hazy amber with a large but quickly fading white head. Aroma is complex -- spice, fruit, yeast and earth. Taste is lighter and lightly sweet. Very good tripel.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber (Batch: 001, Bottle: 0844) at Rovers- poured a very turbid and hazy orange-brown color, one finger creamy head laced very well despite the glassware provided (shaker), aroma of PLUMS! with yeast and a faint aroma of clove. Hits the mouth with a firm medium body, malt is solidly there despite the style, very light in the candi sugar department, middle is more plums and darkened fruit, with the finish of rainbows and a medley of fruity esters that translate on the tongue very well. Solid effort.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very spicy nose right off the bat, kinda sinus clearing like mace, cinnamon and clove. I also detect a bit of trailing orange citrus.
Pours cloudy golden orange in the glass. More spice on the tongue. some pepper, cinnamon and a slight hint of piney mint. The spicy cinnamon really lasts in the aftertaste. Overall, very tasty and complex. this beer would probably be good in the fall when spicy flavors and aromas are definitely in season. Good to have sampled, thanks to BarZigKin for the generous gift.
