A light orange beer with a beutiful head, though fast disappearing. The aroma is malty with notes of apples and hints of hops. The flavor is lovely malty and a good bitterness that prickles the tongue before it turns dry. The end is somewhat watery.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Papsoe (22946) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2005
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2005 (Plastic bottle 50 cl) 5.4% ABV in my version. A discount beer brewed for the German Penny-discount supermarket. Somehow it found it’s way to a shop in Frederiksberg. I haven’t seen it anywhere else. This is a rather rough and unsophisticated lager, decent golden with a decent head, but extremely bitter. 100504

Bottle @ Yespr tasting. [thank you, Yespr]
Pours pale yellow golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is sweeter than the regular pils, has more notes of grassy hops as well - but still the lingering metallic edge (impressive in a plastic bottle btw). Mouthfeel is better, still thin, but not nearly as fizzy. Flavour is sweet, bread and hay dominating with slight grasssy hop notes.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Maria (8568) - Thisted, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2008
It’s golden with an OK head. The aroma mainly has notes of malt. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of malt, very light and dry citrus and light flower. It’s boring, but drinkable.
