Weich röstiger und dezent süßer Beginn. Die Röstigkeit sinkt leicht und bleibt dann konstant, wenig karamellig. Dann breiter malzig, zum Ende bitter. Ein durchaus gelungenes Dunkles! 11/11/10/11/8/11

Had this beer some time ago, transferring data from database before Januar I was using to rate beer. As I drink this again I will add a complete review.

Single bottle purchased from a PennyMarkt in Geising, Germany on 11/29/2011. Colour: Looks like Coca-cola, with little head. Nose: Touches of cocoa and toffee among burnt oak. Slight barnyard yeast. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium bitter, light sour. The bitterness is thick late. There is a saltiness. Tastes more burnt than complex roasted. Promising nose - not quite the same follow through with the taste.

Erst wollte ich ja nicht glauben das Adelskronen ein Saisonbier im Sortiment hat, doch anscheinend ist dem doch so :D. Das Bier das ich im Pennymarkt gefunden habe, besitzt eine mittelmäßig gute Schaumkrone und eine Farbe die an Altbier erinnert. Der Geschmack ist hopfig, röstmalzig und herb-bitter. Im Nachgeschmack bleibt es weiter herb und röstmalzig. Auch geschmacklich könnte es theoretisch ein Saisonalt sein. Fazit: Ordentliches Billigbier! Test vom 4.1.2009, Gebinde: PET Noten: 11,10,10,10,9,10 - 10,05 So nun habe ich bei Penny entdeckt, dass es ein neues Winterbier von Adelskronen gibt, dieses mal von der Darguner Brauerei. Ich muss sagen, ich bin dieses Jahr sehr enttäuschend auch wenn es nur ein PET-Bier ist. Es schmeckt nur etwas dunkel malzig-grasig, wässrig. Im Nachgeschmack etwas hopfig, wässrig. Fazit: Langweilig und nicht so lecker wie letztes mal. Test vom 12.12.2009, Gebinde: PET Noten: 7,7,8,6,8,7 - 7,05

Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Bottle @ Germany. Pours cloudy amber with a small creamy white head. Sweet nose of caramel and fruit. Sweet and malty flavor with barely any hops. Quite cloying. Medium bodied..

Plastic bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of MiP. Pours a clear warm amber with a small off-white head. Lightly roasted malt in the nose. Medium body, roasted malt, a little caramel and sulphur. Dry, lightly bitter finish. 040409

Clear medium yellow orange amber color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, dusty, light hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090404]

Plastic bottle, 5.2%. Clear amber colour. Weak spicy hop aroma. OK malty flavour, slightly spicy, seemingly from the hops. Slightly grainy finish. Subtle, but OK.

The bottle looks terrible, the beer in the glass much better. Starts malty and roasty, also a bit smoky. Well balanced, fresh finish. Really good cheap beer!
