3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle I picked up in lake Placid. Nice ruby red/brown pour. Some sweet malt and piney hops in aroma. Good malt body for a brown. Hops coming thru in the flavor. Enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a pretty outstanding brown. Floral hoppy nose, mixed with a bit of maltiness. Thick full palate, roasted, chewy, complex. Really decent, and I didnít see this coming. Thanks for the trade Ron!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Multiple samples @ Empire Brew Fest. Hazy brown color with a thick off white head. Nose is fruity hops and roasted barley. Flavor had roasted malts displaying the nutty and caramel flavors. The bitterness from the hops really shines in the finish. Citrus and line pine notes. Medium body with a nice clean finish. A nice hop forward brown ale.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nevelig amberbruin met behoorlijke lichtbeige kraag. Aroma is citrus, geroosterd malt. Smaak begint lichtzoet, gaat over naar bitter. Nasmaak ietsje te bitter.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a clean brown color with a finger of foam. The nose is citrus pine and round malts. The palate is the same with nice balance between hop notes and malty sweet undertones. Restrained and lighthanded and highly drinkable. Nice bitterness cleans up the finish !

Bottle. Pours brown with a beige head. Toasted grainy, with light roasted malts, some light sweetness, and a light lingering floral bitterness. Pretty good.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Paula. Pours dark ruddy amber with a creamy beige head. Aroma seems citrus hop. Med body. Flavor is that lightly roasted malt common to "brown"s, but there is a very strong amount of hop bitter. Seems mostly citrus. Surprisingly tasty brown. New style: Brown IPA

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured a deep amber with an orange hue and a white head that dissipated to the edges and laced. Aroma was pine hops with a strong combination of earthy grains and a bit of a toast note. Flavor was similar with a lot of earthy malts and toast with a bit of pine in the finish. Didnít do much for me.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a mostly clear deep reddish brown with a moderate tan head that lasted through the first third of the glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of caramel malt along with a few notes of fresh orange. The flavor is caramel malt, lightly sweet, followed by some moderate hops bitterness that retains some of the citrus flavor offered in the aroma. Medium bodied. This is a very nice brown ale that I would drink regularly if it were available near me. Iíll be picking up more on my next trip to Albany!
