COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Belgian-Style Saison is a traditional ale brewed in Belgian farmhouses as a restorative for workers at the end of a long summer day. This ale is golden colored and uniquely complex. Look for aromas of orange and peach with an undertone of spices. Although light in body and highly carbonated, this ale is flavorful with spicy notes, fruit flavors and a light peppery finish. Available mid-July.

Growler shared by goldtwins (Thanks Larry!) Hazy golden pour with a fading tan head. Old, sweet fruits dominate the nose. Estery, with rotted apples and pears and a cinnamon-like spice note. Light feel on the palate. Tastes a bit chalky upfront with a rotted fruit sweetness that follows. Some old/mushy apples and maramlade-like flavors with a late, simple phenolic spiciness. Pretty much like apple sauce. Kind of simple.

On tap at brewpub. Light yellow in color with a little white head. Malty and fruity aroma. Apple, pear and spicy notes. Malty, and hoppy flavor. Medium bodied. Finish is dry. Drinkable.

On tap at the Adirondack Pub and Brewery. Pours a just hazy golden amber with a medium to thick white head. Wouldn’t peg this as a saison were it not called that. Some odd aromas and flavors going on here. Little bit of bubble gum, cat pee… I’ll stop there. I struggled to put much of this one down. Finishes with a little bit of bitterness. This was rough, and I was foolish enough to force down the bulk of the glass in one go… which required a quick trip to the bathroom where it all came roaring back. Not recommended. Stick with their hoppy stuff which is pretty solid
