COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Recently named “3rd Best Craft Beer in the Hudson Valley” by TAP NY, Dirty Blonde Ale is an all-American style wheat beer with a twist. Brewing this beer with American ale yeast keeps it light and refreshing. An enormous Cascade and Centennial dry hop gives this beer a strong grapefruit aroma and a pleasant citrusy flavor making it Adirondack Brewery’s Official Summer Beer.

Dirty Blonde is an ode to the many summer romances that have taken place on the shores of Lake George since the early 1800’s.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a nice looking hazy golden orange to yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about thirty seconds. Light speckled lacing roams around the glass. The smell starts off with some peach inducing a light herbal/grassiness leading into a semi-sweet citrus. A light rind-like quality runs into combine. The taste moderately blends the citrus with the peach and the herbal/grassiness. A light amount of citrus blends into the aftertaste and leads to a wet citrus finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light and still the bitterness is mainly subdued. Overall, not a bad beer, but I don’t see it as a wheat ale. Probably could have again for me.

Cloudy light gold beer with a thick fizzy bright white head. Resinous nose of pine, wax, and herbs. Flavor is bright with juicy hops with some peach, tangerine, and lemon all hitting at once followed by a bit of bitter pith. Light in body with crisp effervescence, this is an easy beer to drink, but it lacks a bit of depth. Decent.

Not sure what I was expecting but just not a very tasty beer. Bitter but otherwise lacking in flavor

Bottle. Effervescent grapefruit aroma, much higher carbonation than average. Initial flavor is grapefruit, then fades to hoppy/beer flavor. Bitter after taste.

Balanced hops. Citrus and grapefruit nose. Smooth texture. Creamy balanced with hops. Unfiltered gives bigger mouthfeel

12 ounce bottle. Hazy golden, thin fizzy off-white head. Decent retention. Aroma of tropical, citrus hops, pale malt. The taste is tropical fruits, pretty tart, lemon, piney notes, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering tartness and bitterness.

Tap @ Johnny Rockets in Queensbury on my Heady trip to VT. Just good not great very little hoppiness. Kinda disappointed was looking for pale ale and got a light pale flop.

Nice balance overall here. Citrus and floral hops. Pleasant caramel malt sweetness. Pretty clean finish with just a bit of lingering hops.

Bottle. Lemon-lime malt and orange peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large head. Sweet tangy lime malt and moderately bitter lime/orange peel flavor. Not bad.

Light and quite refreshing but overly tart and ultimately quite watery. More pleasing to the nose than the palate.
