12 oz. bottle labelled Iriquois Pale Ale. Pours a hazy gold with a moderate linen white head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of citrus and caramel. The flavor is malt, caramel, and citrus with some moderate grapefruit pith bitterness. Medium bodied. No problems.

Poured into a pint glass, golden amber hue with small white head. Nice nose full of grapefruit. Malty sweetness is only slightly peirced by hop bitterness. Grapefruit is inviting on the finish. Mouth is light and buttery. Yum. More malty than most IPAs but enjoyable none the less.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a 1.5-finger foamy beige head that leaves nice lacing as it recedes. Aromas of citrus peel and sweet pine, with some orange and lemon notes. The flavor is zesty citrus; sharp and tart initially with nice bitterness, and some papaya and earthy malt in the finish. Medium carbonation and body. Surprisingly good; a solid offering. [912]

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear gold with an orange hue and a white head that lasted throughout the beer and laced nicely. Aroma was a combination of citrus and grapefruit with hints of pine and earthy grain backing. Flavor was similar with a bit more pine and earthiness coming through and grapefruit in the finish.

On tap at the Adirondack Pub and Brewery. Clean lightly orange hued golden amber with a medium white head. Big clean citrus and pineapple. Touch of sweet malt, medium bodied. Finishes with a long deep grapefruit bitterness. Tried ten of their beers while I was there, and this was the standout. Nicely done. Both of their hoppy beers were delicious.
