on nitro-pours a light tan head and black color. Aroma is dark malt, coffee/molasses. Taste is dark malt, molasses/coffee/some fruit, hops bitterness/acidic. Mild carbonation.

Aug 30, 2007 En fût. Verre de dégustation à la brasserie. Arôme: Légère odeur de café torréfié. Apparence: La couleur est brune très foncé. Présence d’un mince col mousseux sur le verre. Saveur: Très léger goût de café et de cacao. Durée moyenne de l’arrère goût. Palette: Le corps et la texture sont mince. Faible effervescence en bouche. Présence de torréfaction en arrière goût. Aug 22, 2007 On Tap at Brewery. Dark black/brown color with only wisps of head. Aroma is plenty of fresh roast. Flavor is a lot milder than I would have thought. Pretty mild roast, almost porterish. I’m not detecting the chocolate. Body is a little thin for a stout, but if you told me this was a porter I would say - great porter. As a stout, its a bit thin.

Jul 24, 2006 Appearance of dirty water (muddy brownish). Doesn’t look like a stout. Tasted like a watered-down old coffee. Doesn’t taste like a stout. Draft at brewpub. A very honest brewer, this tastes like a Snow Trout has been swimming in my stout.
