COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
French Louie’s Ale is a robust Belgian Style Golden Ale with a distinct aroma of citrus fruits and spice. Made from imported Belgian Yeast and American grown hops, this triple features Belgian candy sugar which lightens its body and flavor.

Pours a hazy rusty amber brown color with a finger of sticky eggshell foam. Aromas are sweet caramel and butter toffee.. closer to a barleywine on the nose. On the palate its a bit of a mess... would read better as a barleywine. Sticky sweetness with touches of bitterness and booze... not much as far as Belgian qualities to this beer at all... boozy hot finish. Not my thing.
