COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional best bitter brewed using only the finest British Golding’s hops and Maris Otter and Crystal Malts. Old Gold in colour, easy drinking ale with a bitter sweet start and a satisfying full bodied hoppy aftertaste.

Bottle that I picked up at Vincent Montgomery Traditional Butchers, Wantage, a butchers shop with deli selling 40 or more different bottles of beer. Picked up Saturday 22nd Oct 2011 consumed at home. Hazy amber in appearance with a light filminess across the top. The aroma has a very slight tinge of sourness which tends to be more prominent in the mouth, some bitterness shows, not much sweetness, I have to conclude that this may have a slight infection, so not great.
