3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Oxford BF. Glen obviously got the good half! Golden with whitish bubbles for a head. The aroma was on the sweet side with signs of honey. Same in the mouth with some nettles. Decent enough but I didn’t get the hoppiness Glen had at all.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. Pale amber with a fast fading white head; heavy carbonation and lots of fluffy yeast that wouldn’t fully settle before pouring. Honey aroma; citrus flavours, with a long strong dry and bitter hoppy finish with traces of pine resin. Very tasty.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask Conditioned at Oxford Beer Fest ’08 in company of Hughie & Maeib. Yellow gold with white head. Oooh I liked this one, bright and very hoppy, full of lemon citric notes, tangy and tasty with refreshing bitterness. Good stuff.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask at Oxford BF ’08. Gold. Sweet aroma, possibly fruit and hops in there. Intensely sweet honey taste with slight bitterness. Didn’t go down particularly well, I confess.
