COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer derives its malt flavor from the roasted barley. The spices from northwestern hops create a delicate balance of sweetness and bitterness.

Not a dark Porter. More of a dark Amber. Ruby, if you will. Good beer I think it would be even better from the tap.

JPDIPSO (4957) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 20, 2002

Chestnut color with a small fading yellow/tan head. Odd spice aroma. Flavors of a cross etween a wit and a brown ale. Husky grain after tastes. Dry and a touch acerbic in the finsih. Interesting, seems like the yeast strain is off for this style.
