On tap at the brewpub: Deep golden to light amber coloured, mid-sized, quite stable fluffy off-white head; delicate aromatic herbal-hoppy nose, underpinned by sweet-fruity malt ("english"); quite dry (malty-) bitter flavour, rather light bodied; light sweetish-malty finish with a hoppy touch. Good franconian beer...........

Golden coloured and clear. Has a white head, medium duration. Aroma has notes of light bread, some odd notes too. Flavor is mainly sweet, sharp, bitter finish. A bit unpleasent.

It’s warm golden with a creamy head and the aroma has notes of straw, grain and light metal. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of straw, malt, biscuits and the finish is dry.

Heuartiger Geruch, vollmundig nach süß-röstigem Malz. Herber, angenehm hopfiger Antrunk. Hintergründig wässrig, schade angesichts der angenehmen Aromen. Merklich bitter, im Abgang noch getreidig-wässrig, spritzig, aber nicht vollmundig. 10/9/8/10//9

Clear medium orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toasted, grain, hay, straw, light cereal, mash. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110422]

Bottled. Orangeish amber colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild grass as well as some slight easrthy notes. Flavour is rather malty with some slight grassy notes as well. Some earthy and herbal notes as well. A quite pleasantly balanced brew.

Clear golden with a medium off white head. Malty aroma with caramel and hints of hops. Fairly dry flavour with malty and caramel hints. Finished dry and bitter.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear copper colour. Small stable white head. The flavour starts off slightly sweet, turns quite bitter. Nutty, slightly sugary, but balanced by the hops.

Golden, light amber color, decent white head. A honeyish malty and grainy nose. Medium-bodied. Good malty backbone. Finish and aftertaste is hoppy with hints of metal. No diacetyl in my bottle. Solid Bavarian helles-zwickel.

Draft. An orange-amber beer with a thick creamy off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel and straw. The flavor is sweet with light notes of caramel, leading to a finish with light notes of both hops and bitterness. The mouthfeel was quite flat. Served too cold for my liking - early in the day.
