It’s unclear, warm golden with a huge, creamy, white head. The aroma has delicious notes of banana, yeast, wheat - truly nice. The flavor is sweet with a banana overload, a little banana peel, mild yeast andwheat, and the finish is slightly spicy. This is absolutely gorgeous, one of the best weissbiers I have had...

My bottle has 5.2%. --> 12/13/12/12

Light yellow colored with hazy appearance. Medium sized white head. Nice Bayern aroma with refreshing banana and spicy yeastiness, somehow this is easily recognicable to be from this area. Medium bodied. Flavor is also fine with banana and spices in start, fine crispy carbonation. Aftertaste is yeasty, still rather short one. Still excellent brew, nice to have good weizen for long time.

Murky medium orange orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate to heavy yeasty, fruity, banana, fresh banana. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, fruity, banana, yeast. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20110422]

Fruchtig-hefiger, fast etwas aufgesetzter Antrunk. Im Mittelteil hopfiger und etwas herber, sehr spritzig, für ein Weizen voluminös. Auch im Abgang noch stimmig, gegenüber dem Mittelteil hat es sich kaum verändert. 9/11/12/12/?/11

Bottled. Hazy goldeny orange colour with a mediumsized foamy white head, that leaves quite rich lace. Aroma is banana, mild herbs and yeast as well as some citrus and wheat. Flavour is quite much the same along with some mild toffeeish notes.

(bottle) Hazy, light orange colour with a big and dense foamy white head. Moderately sweet, slightly fruity (banana) wheat-malty nose with a touch of vanilla and clovy spice. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation, at least for a Hefeweizen. Soft grainy, moderately wheaty taste; rather slim, slightly wheaty and quite phenolic (cloves, vanilla), spicy finish. Who needs a Weizen in Franconia ? At a growing number of breweries one has to ask where the Weizens are actually brewed.

Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is powerfully wheaty as well as light notes of banana. The flavor is sweet malty combined with strong notes of wheat as well as a light fruityness especially of banana and oranges, leading to a dry and slightly wheaty end with hints of acidity, that makes it fresh.

Bottle (purchased at the brasserie): Hazy, pale golden, smaller, persisting foamy layer, wheaty-sourish nose with a tinge of cloves and bananas; light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, quite smooth MF; sweetish orangey finish with a light acidity in the aftertaste. Not unpleasant.........
