Bottle (purchased at the pivovar): Deep golden coloured, smaller off-white layer, sticking to the glass, sweet-malty, bisquity nose with a very well detectable dash of herbal hops; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; distinctive aromatic-hoppy traces in the smooth bitter-sweet finish. Great! Not sweet, very well balanced Bock...........

Idiosynkrasie (499) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 22, 2012
500ml bottle. Clear orangey-golden colour with average frothy white head. Slightly grainy caramel malt aroma with subtile sweet fruit notes, apricot, mirabelle. Well balanced taste, slightly dry, slighlty sweet, minimal sour note, no displeasing alcohol; resemblance to a fluid Granny Smith apple, though certainly more full bodied. Well done.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, white sugar, very bocky aroma. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, malt sweet, bock alike, alcohol burn. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20120210]

Bottled 50cl. Clear pale golden with an average sized head. Gooseberries, melon, green apple, grain, pale malts and spicy hops showing up in the nose. A lot of gooseberries in the taste. Rather fruity. Biscuity malt back. Slightly warming on the swallow. Not much lacework. Dry finish which is reminiscent of dried apricot, gooseberry and melon. Nice.

Bottled 500ml (BB 04/2012)
Clear golden color, small white head. Fruity, apples, light alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Oily palate. Fruity, green apple (pleasant way), alcohol, some (alcoholic) bitterness. Plesant heller bock (not my favourite style anyhow).

Bottled. Golden colour, small creamy white head. Aroma is fruity and rather sweet with some mild floral notes. Pleasant. Flavour is quite similar with quite bready malts and some slight notes of hay.

"Schwarze Adler-Bock" Bright 10k yellow-gold. Aroma is clean, fresh, dry. Excellent drinkability. Superfruity. The flavors follow the aromas. Fruity and balanced. Doesn’t feel heavy at all. Clean and crisp. Actually very nice.

Golden. The aroma has some pale malts and maybe a little fruitiness. Fairly malty character. Drinkable, dry, pale bock. Almost like a mocne, mellow but tasty.

Bottle, thanks pivnizub! Very hoparomatic nose: Grapefruit and flowers. Golden, low visible carbonation, low head. Honeyish malt base accented by very nice flowery hops, a bit citric on the finish.Medium chewy body, nice wellagerd sparkly on the palate. Flavourfull and hoppy, yet no tendency to soapyness on the long run - very süffig. Excellent!
