It’s golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, apple and straw. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw, flower - it seems a bit oxidated - both in aroma and flavor. The finish has a light bitterness.

500ml bottle (OPP, Helsinki. German Weeks 2009)
Slight pea aroma, other pulses. Decent gold, brief head. Full body, some plastic malts, some mustard comes through later in the aroma as it warms. Plusses and minuses, but I did volunteer to finish the bottle so it couldn’t have been that bad.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is mash, some berries and slight wood as well. Flavour is caramel malts, mash, a bit grassyness and also some grainy notes. Rather sweet, but still not totally bad.

Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): A bit unclear, smaller, but stable lacy foamy layer; moderate, shy, but distinctive aromatic tettnang hoppy nose: wood, vanilla and almonds; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite light bodied, quite soft MF; light sweetish-aromatic hoppy finish with a rural touch. A nice rural, tasty Pils, almost of franconian character..............

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a mid-sized and stable foamy white head. Sweet grainy and milky aroma with notes of cake and floral hops. Light-bitter flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Soft malty, a bit biscuit-like taste with a light but aromatic hops character; slightly bitter at the very end. Tastes like a decent Helles (26.06.08).

bottle, bought at the brewery, ABV 4.6%. Clear pale yellow, medium-sized head. Hoppy nose. Light to medium-bodied, solid malty background with lovely aromatic hops, slightly perfumy. Low carbonation, velvety mouthfeel. Light, elegant and crisp.

An orange beer with an OK white head. The aroma is sweet with a light dusty note of hops, while the flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of straw, and leading to a bitter end.
