Hildigöltur (5103) - København, DENMARK - JAN 20, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Very cloudy golden coloured. Malty, bready and sweet. Extremely soft mouthfeel due to the low carbonation level. Light bitterness in the finish. Very well balanced and pleasant.

Quack-Duck (7920) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 19, 2008
bottle, bought at the brewery, ABV 4.9%. Hazy golden yellow, sour nose. Fruity and sour, hints of buttermilk, hints of citrus fruit. Malty background, aromatic hoppy notes as well. A very interesting and fascinating beer which is more and more appealing. The buttermilk-sourness gives it a wild character. I would like to open the second bottle to find out more about the character of this beer. Of course I don’t because it is already reserved for my friends in Bochum.

It’s unclear golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of fruit, fresh grain and malt. The flavor has a light to moderate sweetness and mild and soft notes of malt, fruit and newly harvested grain. The finish is slightly dry and bitter.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy pilsener golden with a small, creamy head. Fruity, lightly bananaish nose. Soft, malty with some notes of bubble gum. Unusual for it’s style, but fine indeed. 210106

(on bottle) Fresh, cheasy aroma. Light mouthfeel, but lso soft like a oktoberfest. Grassy, herby taste, rather refreshing finish.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Hazy yellow colour, smal white head. Aroma is yeasty, malty, hoppy and a bit rubbery. Flavour is quite much the same along with some berryish strange sweet notes. Rather strangely balanced brew.

500ml bottle (OPP, Helsinki, German Weeks 2009)
Dull aroma. Very cloudy deep yellow. Sharp palate, almost sour. Lovely full crisp taste. Finish pleasantly hoppy. Tasty zwickel, possibly the best I’ve had.

Bottle (Dank an den Bodenseee): Cloudy, pale golden to golden, small, stable lacy white head; fruity-yeasty-sourish nose with a sweet-malty background and some hoppy edges; light sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft MF; sourish-fruity finish with a light bitterness in the aftertaste. Possibly infected, but still drinkable............
