Bottle, thanks pivnizub. Fairly roasted, light honey and berry aroma. Red golden brown, low golden head. Fruity base, apples and pears, grain, coffee-roast. Medium to light body. Slightly metallic roast aftertaste. Not entirely harmonic, but interresting enough.

Dark nut browncolor with reddish tinge. The smell is malty caramel. Starts malty and bitter, with a slight caramel aroma. The middle part is very grainy, also roasted malty. It’s pleasantly malty bitter with a slightly sweet flavor. The aftertaste shows nice coffee bitter aromas. To finish the roasted coffee note is more intense. Delicious Dunkles with a strong finish!

Draught at the braugasthöfen
Beautiful dark amber color. Aroma of caramel, light roasted malt, very light butter, but also a nice smell of firewood. Good caramel flavor, with a round and sweetish body; a bit buttery and fruity too. Correct bitterness. Possibly flawed, but enjoyable.

Part of the Great Stuttgarter Beer Raid 2011. 500 ml flip-top bottle in Germany. Pours kind of light for a dunkel. Looks more like an amber color with a soft white head. Aroma is malt. coco and dust. Taste is sweet malt and some sweet popcorn. Palate is mellow and nice. Again like all of the other beers from this brewery very different but still very good.

My flip-top bottled beer was under the best before date, but i tried to taste it. So i had felt the potential in the beer but it was infected. It had a nice character with a dark brown body and a nice tan head. But after the appearance comes the sauerkraut in the aroma and flavor... It was bad. I tasted instead of the bad aroma, i’ ve felt some caramel and roasted grains in the body, but the acidity kill the palate. Sorry....I’ve rated with this conditions!
What a fortune, i can taste it again!

Now the beer is better, it has a clear character....So the appearance is nice with a ruby body with a creamy, medium lacing tan head. Fine caramel and mild roasted grains, coffe and cocoa in the aroma with some fruity perfume. Medium bodied beer with roasted grains, some dried fruits, sweet caramel malt. Fine and easy drinkable.

courtesy of Arben Haziri - pours a clear ruby-brown colour with a little but persistent beige foam; the nose is fairly toasted and earthy with a touch of caramel; medium-bodied with some sweet malt backbone, subtle carbonation and a fizzy and quite short toasted malty finish
