3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at the Milson Rhodes, Didsbury, Manchester. Nice sunny day, sat with the beautiful Laura, and she paid. Dark orange gold with a thick almost white head. Aroma is malts, low citrus notes. Flavour is smooth malts, some jammy citrus hops. It’s not amazing but it’s pretty tasty and the tastiest beer I could find in there. Not bad at all.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from the Gold Cape, Mold. Pours a clear brown amber with a soapy white head. Aroma is hoppy and malty with hints of orange zest. Taste is pretty much the same with a light bitterness on the finish. Pretty good offering from Wetherspoons, a nice enough introduction to craft beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in Oct 2013 - Orangey Amber in colour. Very Hoppy; piney resinous hops; good hop bite. Very Fruity; bitter grapefruit citrus, sweet orange, some tropical fruit. Malty backbone; sweet malts, caramel. Bitter grapefruit and orange citrus hoppy meets sweet malts. Enjoyed this. Nice IPA!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask, JDW, New Brighton. Amber looks with a small white head. Noice fragrant hop and citrus notes in the beak. Flavour was on the sweet side and very downable with some nice fruit and hop presence. Tip top balance struck and ABV well smothered. Far better than anticipated.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pretty ordinary IPA, for mine. Lots of hops, not sufficiently balanced by the malt. Little complexity.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 30 September. Poured a clear amber with a thin white head and good lacing. Floral hop aroma with mango and caramel sweetness. Melon and peach flavours with some hay. Finishes with citrus hops, spruce and toffee. Fruity number and deceptively quaffable (as I discovered).

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at Figure of Eight, Birmingham. Really good. Drank 3 pints of this and was akin to bladdered. Quaffable, hoppy, super smooth. Did taste the abv - not bonkers. I was right. So was Lee. So was Seamus.

cask@assembly rooms, Bristol 5/10/13
Hazy mid amber, mangoes and oranges on nose, full bodied, pithy bitterness, hop forward but well balanced by the malt, does not drink its strength at all. Great collab.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted this in the Last Post, Paisley (JDW) in October 2013. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear orange amber in colour with a thin off white creamy head. Strong aroma of wet spruce plantations and dusty hop flowers. Thick creamy mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt base leads to a rich maltloaf base, laden with thick maple syrup and tropical fruit salad notes. The aftertaste has a strong floral fragrance with hop flowers giving little astringency in the mouth. Finish is very malty with a fiery alcoholic warming medina burr and sweet syrupy Del Monte tropical fruit salad. This is a cracking New World IPA and went down a treat with a Rogan Josh curry! Highly recommended.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask flying horse Gatwick. Pours clear amber. White head which creates nice rings. Sweet bubblegum, caramel, citrus hops slight alcohol on Nose. Low carbonation. Toffee caramel gives way to astringent bitterness. Bitterness lasts on the palate. A little unbalanced with bitterness but a step above a lot of Cask ales.
