3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On cask at the St. James Tavern in London. Dark amber/brown color with a medium thin light tan head. Thin and quick lacing. The aroma is rather fruity, with hints of caramel and malt. Medium-bodied and very smooth and smokey. Flavors of caramel, grape, and roasted malt. The finish is silky and long. This is a solid beer that can be found in many pubs/taverns in London.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark red with a dry, lingering head. The roasted malt is r e a l l y apparent, a bit too much. A littel bit too sweet to. Sounds critical, but it's really a very decent beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark amber coloured body with a dense, thick, creamy off-white head. Aroma of vanilla and caramel with some malt background. Medium-bodied; Creamy mouthful with some roasted malt and strong sweetness which lasts a long time. Aftertaste shows some sweetness and some balanced tastes. Overall, a decent beer...not my favourite for the style, but a good beer. I had this on cask at the Old Toad in Rochester, New York.

3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
On cask at the Old Toad in Rochester, NY. Poured a chocolate brown colour with a thick frothy white head. The aosma was faint. I caught little more than floral hints. The taste was more malty than anythong. Roasted barley. A bit of a smoked taste. A hoppy finish. I feel that it;s too dry for my taste. I don't think it waas worth the investment, but I would buy it if it was a little cheaper.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Totally clear ruby red color with foamy off white head. Aroma is malty, slightly sweet, caramel and vanilla evident, dry with a very faint sourness that is somewhat citrusy. Flavor has toasted malts, subtle sweetness, creamy, slightly nutty, with a touch of bitternes in the finish. Mouthfeel is al ittle thin. A good brew, not great, but maybe would make a good session beer.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
(500ml bottle) Pours a medium, white head and a dark golden body. Nose of floral malt. Great balance between the malt and hops. If this was more readily available, it would be a mainstay in my frigde. Very good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
SLight caramel, somewhat bitter aroma. Good bitterness throughout with just the right amount of malt sweetness to balance. Not really sure I would call this a strong ale, but good anyway.
