Rather soapy taste. Very disappointed with this one which is a regular in here. Will not be drinking again.

Draft @ Hoppy Loft.

Half pint at Khyber Pass. Mostly dark pour that showed as a clear red under bright light. Splotchy off-white foam on top. Some big bubble fizziness at the start quickly turned watery. Mild dark red fruit with some very modest spicy bitterness. Plums half on their way to prunes. Elephant ear mushrooms. Moist leather saddle. Sugared pinecones. Caramels in water. Red pepper. Some unusual notes but in balance not all that great.

(On Tap) Rich dark mahogany colour with god off white head. Subtle malt and apple aroma. Medium body and carbonation. Taste is rich dark malt with an appley fruitiness. Excellent strong beer - regales too easy to drink.

Half pint westherspoons Gatwick airport. Dark brown with off white foam head. Nose is toffee caramel. Sweet malts. Slight aroma of dark fruit - blackberry and plum. Nose is similar to taste but with a distinct coffee hue. Dry wood bitter finish. Bitter is not my favourite style but this has subtle flavours and is quite nice.

Pint after work. Copper colour loose white head. Aroma is grassy hop and biscuit. Flavour had a weird slightly autolysis thing. More grassy hop. Watery palate.
