[Cask at GBBF 2003] A nutbrown beer with no head. THe aroma is malty with notes of nuts. The flavor is sweet and hoppy in the beginning with notes of flowers, turning nicely bitter in the end. a very frefrshing beer.

(On tap) Clear, dark amber colour with a very small head. Lightly malty nose. Has a roasted malty character and a very smooth, aromatic hoppiness without any real bitterness. 250605

From cask at White Horse. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small off white head. Aroma is roasted malty and slight breadish. Bitter, slight metallic and dark roasted malt flavoured. Bitter and hard roasted malt finish. Slight metallic. Ends rather dry.

Cask@Holly Bush, Hampstead. Dark amber colour, not much head. Aroma is yeasty, wooden and quite grassyish hops. Flavour is very much the same, a slight disappointment.

Amber color; creamy thin head. Light aroma, luckly the mouthfeel is smooth with some malt, caramel; lightly fruity, hoppy. The palate is too weak (watery).

(Cask Conditioned) Pours a medium amber color with a thin creamy head. Descent tasting English bitter.

One of my favourite premium english bitters. Good strong malty fruit flavours and then a kick of hops. I like the fact that it gets me drunk faster than the usual session beers I go for.

Cask @ Bishop’s Arms, Malmö. Dark amber colour. Malty aroma with some hints of flowery hops. Malty and a little nutty flavor. Some bitterness in the aftertaste.
