Well-balanced bitterness and graininess, with a light apple feel. A bit watery in places, perhaps. Marzipan nose.

Aroma’s of sweet malt and vine fruits,
Leading to a bittersweet flavour of Caramel,malt and fruit,Quite a subtle dry lingering bitterness in the finish.

Aug 20, 2008 Cask (The Castle,Basingstoke) - Copper coloured with a bit of a haze. Very fruity and rich aroma with some fruit cake hints. Fruity and slightly musty taste with raisins and some spicy malt notes.
