Blom (390), Odense, Denmark Mar 31, 2008 Reddish brown with a dense and beautiful head. Bitter berry-like aroma and explosive flavours of nuts, chocoalte, caramel, toffee, black currants and cherries. Nice bitter ending and overall a lovely strong ale.

Juelze (889), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Mar 3, 2008 Pours a dark hazy brown color with thin head. Aroma is very fruity with noses of dark fruit, apple and rich caramel. Taste is apple and dark fruit up front and a little bit of red grape in the finish. This ale is full bodied with mild carbonation and a chewy finish. Very complex and pretty enjoyable, although it’s not one I’d drink regularly. jjuf1853 (467), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Feb 22, 2008 Bottle pours a rich dark amber with a very thin head. Sweet malt aroma. Similar taste with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Overall a very nice English ale.
