Gethinbeer (997), Nova Scotia, Canada May 31, 2006 From bottle. Struck by a strong aroma of syrup and malt. Deep reddish brown appearance with a decent enough head. Quite smooth to drink, thick syrup flavour that reminded me of liquorice. Overall a tasty ale with a bitter finish. Felt like a winter ale to me.
