The aroma has plenty of fresh apple and cherry, some wood, brown sugar, cinnamon. The head leaves spidery lacework on the glass. I taste plenty of full flavoured raisin, some more cherry moving to lots of golden delicious apple, really a pleasant combination. There is some hop kick to it, subtle with pine undertones. The finish is slightly bitter with some wood character. Mouthfeel is medium; head retention is fantastic. probstk (1027), Nepean, Ontario, Canada

App.: Clear deep copper with a nice tan head.
Aroma: Fruity, some tree fruits, some dark dried fruits, apples cherries, apricots, raisins, lightly spicy, a bit of brown sugar.
Palate: Medium body, fairly soft carbonation.
Flav.: Light molasses, some caramel, some brown sugar, lightly spicy, not really as fruity as the nose but some apples, light cherries, a little wood, a little alcohol; dry with decent bitterness.
Uninspired but not bad. Gary (352), Buckinghamshire, England

It is tad syrupy on the palate, not too sticky however . This would go great with my ’famous’ Tunna stew. mcc5468 (103), USA

Strong caramel-malt profile, some spice (clove? cinnamon), dark berries and fruit flavours (damson, sultana). slight dry finish balances things and leaves a strong palatable texture. rosenbergh (873), Helsinki, Finland

Fruity and malty aroma.
Flavour is fruits and some warming alcohol. But the best part is the complexity of this brew. Very nice. Trev (859), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA
