A fine, heartwarming English Beer, rich in flavours of malt and hops.

Bitter, but not hoppy, with a slight malt flavor. Bitterness lingered at the back of the tongue. Not really my favorite style.

Poured a deep copper colourwith a creamy white head - some lacing. Earthy hop and malt nose. Malty body with some alcohol evident and an enjoyable bitter finish. Has a nice soft mouthfeel. I’ll like to have a session on the cask version. A good beer.

Brown ale with toffee coloured head. Sweet flavour, roasted malts (toasted bread). Coffee? Hints of liqourice. Black currants too?. Overall above average.

Bottle. Has a light tan, medium head topping the gorgeous dark red color. This aromas are toffee and Red Delicious apples at first. The smells change into cider as it warms up. The taste is light with coffee and caramel at first. With warming the flavors are stronger, more like cinnamon and bread. This is very enjoyable and would make a great session beer.

Reddish brown with a lovely lasting head. Aroma faintly of apples, yup, we have an English beer here folks. Flavor was a nice balance of sweet caramel and toffee oriented malts, with apple notes and a drying bitterness on the finish. Understated, balanced, and tasty.

Lovely colour, ruby red with a tan coloured head that was mostly lasting and left nice lacing. Aroma was of malt, fruit and alcohol. Rich malt flavours in the taste with some chocolate, chalk and wine.

Bottle. Poured a medium sized frothy ivory head that contained fine-medium sized bubbles that mostly dissipated. This beer was carbonated, transparent and the hue was mahogany. The aroma was malty, caramel, sweet, fruity and some alcohol. The flavor was sweet, malty, and light hops. There was an aftertaste observed with this beer. The mouthfeel was smooth and the lacing was sparse.
