COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tasting notes and ingredients We’ve used lots of hops from North America – Columbus, Centennial, Cascade, Amarillo and Citra – because we just love the delicious, big, bold, citrus and pine flavours and aromas they bring to the beer. To balance out all this hoppy goodness we’ve added Rye, plus some Pale Ale and Cara Malt, to imbue sweetness, body and balance as well as some lovely subtle toffee flavours. Want to know more? The recipe for our Rye IPA was created by Adnams brewer (and certified hop freak) Belinda, who was excited to be able to let her passion for American craft beers shine through in this flavoursome brew. Jack Brand Rye IPA is available for a limited time in 30L kegs in selected outlets. Food Matches Pair our Rye IPA with spicy Mexican dishes or hot Caribbean flavours.

330ml bottle. A clear, deepish amber with a small, loose and fading off-whtie to beige head. Rye, toffee, marmalade, a little toasty and nutty with bready, biscuity malts. Medium body, firm but lively mouthfeel with a good length toasty/fruit skin bitterness in the finish. Balanced well between its bittersweetness.

330ml bottle from B&M Bargains - Pretty looking clear red body, thick foamy slightly off-white head. Nose is a piney spruce with a bit of resin and citrus giving it some oomph. Taste is initially off-sweet, honey and a lot of pine cone going on. Medium body, long finish. Fun beer.

Bottle from B&M, Team Valley, Gateshead. This copper coloured beer pours with a creamy white head. It has a bitter citrus and red fruity flavour with burnt toffee notes followed by a woody, pine and creamy nutty finish. Very good indeed.
