COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tasting notes and ingredients We’ve used lots of hops from North America – Columbus, Centennial, Cascade, Amarillo and Citra – because we just love the delicious, big, bold, citrus and pine flavours and aromas they bring to the beer. To balance out all this hoppy goodness we’ve added Rye, plus some Pale Ale and Cara Malt, to imbue sweetness, body and balance as well as some lovely subtle toffee flavours. Want to know more? The recipe for our Rye IPA was created by Adnams brewer (and certified hop freak) Belinda, who was excited to be able to let her passion for American craft beers shine through in this flavoursome brew. Jack Brand Rye IPA is available for a limited time in 30L kegs in selected outlets. Food Matches Pair our Rye IPA with spicy Mexican dishes or hot Caribbean flavours.

Aroma of caramels and fruit. Grapefruit frehness with a harsh rye note in the taste. Some nutt. Maybe a bit to sharp in the bitterness. Robust IPA.

Belle couleur ambrée/rouge, haute mousse blanche.

Pours copper, not much head and even the limited white foam that emerges at first is gone in seconds. Aroma is fully bread, rye spiciness and malt sturdiness. Taste feels full, hops are working nicely alongside of malt and rye spiciness. Black bread, no residual sweetness, so actually quite satisfying albeit simple and robust.

330ml bottle, pours amber, small off white lacing. Aroma is medium malty, rye and traditional english style toffee malts, light hoppy with zesty citrus and floral notes. Body is light medium, texture is a bit thin, finish is medium bitter with lasting malty aftertaste.

What a beautiful little beer. I bought 14 bottles from B&M, 89p each. Daylight robbery. Nice smell and a likeable flavour. Bitter as well. I ate 3 Reeses Peanut Butter cups with it, an unpleasant combination but individually they were both good. All in all, beer of contrasts. Would drink again.

Nice Amber color with beautiful head. Aroma: caramel and rye malt with small hinch of citrus. Tastes more like lager but bitterness is quite acceptable.resin and rye aftertaste. Bit oily but Drinkable Semi dry with light sweetness. I was expecting more of that one.
