Brewed with Pilsner malt – like all decent lagers – this authentic lager is then dry hopped with Australian Galaxy hops to add big, fruity hop flavours. Dry hopping allows us to pack more of a flavour punch and adds brilliant hop aromas. It’s then ‘lagered’ (cold conditioned) to produce a full, well rounded flavour. This golden lager is light, crisp and refreshing with subtle malty flavours and a super hoppy aroma of tropical fruits, citrus and passionfruit. -

Tap. Disappointing watery piss-like yellow pour. Honestly a quite unappetizing appearance. The rest of the beer almost makes up for it. Nice grassy hop aroma and a nice hop hit in the finish. A bit one note, but certainly more of a beer than the appearance suggests.

(Bottle) Clear golden with slight white head. Pleasant citrus hops aroma. Light body, well carbonated. Refreshing tangy taste with pleasant bitterness in finish. Nice refreshing clean lager.

Unexciting lemony smell. Pours hazy with little head and flat for the style. Pleasant hopping - love the way dry hops flit about in the background - but the base lager is poor. More dull lemon and little else. No body and an unpleasant tangy metallic finish. Not impressed.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy yellow, with a small creamy head. Aroma is crisp, herbal hops, with orange peel. Average body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts, with bread and toffee, as well as some floral hops. Sweet, zesty floral finish. Decent, but not much of a dry hop effect.

Clear golden color, small fast disspating white head. Malty sweet with some caramel scent, some vegetal notes. Herbal, mineral, light sweet taste. Herbal aftertaste. Light mouthfeel to the fizzy side, low bitterness.

Giallo dorato carico quasi ambrato. Limpida. Cappello di schiuma bianca poco persistente dalla grana abbastanza fine. Al naso predominano i luppoli aggiunti in dry hop. Floreale, fruttata dai sentori di frutta matura gialla tropicale (ananas, papaya, frutto della passione). Leggero biscottato. In bocca e’ scorrevole, poco corposa. Lupoli predominanti con leggero gusto di nalto biscottato. Birra al limite della stucchevolezza

DroolYeast (450) - Aalborg, DENMARK - APR 21, 2015
Tap @ John bull, Aalborg. Aroma of piny citrus hops. Clear golden with white head, tiny lasting. Light+ bitterness, light sweetness. Medium body, soapy texture, average carbonation, short finish.
