COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with Pilsner malt – like all decent lagers – this authentic lager is then dry hopped with Australian Galaxy hops to add big, fruity hop flavours. Dry hopping allows us to pack more of a flavour punch and adds brilliant hop aromas. It’s then ‘lagered’ (cold conditioned) to produce a full, well rounded flavour. This golden lager is light, crisp and refreshing with subtle malty flavours and a super hoppy aroma of tropical fruits, citrus and passionfruit. -

Keg tap @ the Rivermill Tavern, Eaton Socon. Deep yellow with little head but a fair bit of lacing. Faint but pleasant hop aroma: citrus, banana, slightly resinous. Gorgeous sweet taste with a bittersweet finish and aftertaste. This hasn’t been hopped to death, but it’s a nice session lager. I could drink this all night - but I’m rating tonight so I won’t.

Bottle from Adnams brewery shop in Southwold. Pours a rather dull gold with a slight fizz and no head. Soft tropical notes- particularly peach- dominate, although there is just a hint of grass and lemon behind. Mild bitterness to finish. Better than your average lager (probably because it’s not very lager-like!) and a good showcase for the galaxy hop. Yet another decent Adnams brew.

Tap at The Junction Clapham, 06/2014. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is biscuity maltiness. Light body, medium carbonation. Lemony, earthy hops come through nicely with a light veg too. Nice.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear straw color with thin creamy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of apricot, pear, elderflower, passion fruit and spices. Taste starts with light sweet grainy malt, follows refreshing fruity and slightly grassy, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. New world hops give lagers / pilseners new hope...

Pours a clear golden color topped with a small white head. The aroma is extra pleasant - malty, citruses and sweet berries. The taste starts slightly sweet, followed by more than a decent hoppy bitterness. Very enjoyable.

Keg draught. Nice aroma of hop with the right amount of decent malt backing. Appearance - like many other pale lagers, really. A good, malty taste backed with fine hopping, not too overpowering. Full bodied, satisfying beer with a long, bitter finish. Very pleasant and a good addition to the lager scene.
