Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours clear, vibrant copper with a fine, beige cream head. Burnt leaves in the nose, hints of berries. Lightbsweet flavor with odd herbs like oregano and basil, along with leafy bitterness and dried berries. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Poor finish, more dried green herbs, burnt leaves, earth, light burnt sugars. The bitterness is pretty abrasive in the aftertaste. An odd beer, and not very good.
