(Stockholm Beer Festival 2006) Orange/amber, small white head. Fruity citric aroma, some peach and pine apple. Hoppy, herbal flavor, fruity and with sourish notes.

[Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Clear pale amber. Sulphury vegetable nose. Medium sweet with clean mouthfeel and notes of herbs and nutmeg. No bitterness. Not good.

From bottle. Aroma of fruit but also a little chemy. Yellow dew with good carb, very thin head. But has a look that could tempt a pit bull from a bone. Nice bitter taste with hops. Suprislingly smooth. Not really my type of beer and has a weak taste but I enjoyed this beer.

Honeyish gold blonde brewed with Chinook and Columbus hops. Apparently. Some bitter, grapefruity notes and a rounded body, but a bit of an anti-climax.

Bottled. A copper coloure beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma shows signs of hops but there is a tinny and soapy undertone. The taste again has a good measure of hops and there is a nice balancing malt quality. However again this soapiness rears its head. This, I am sure, would be a lovely beer fresh and cask conditioned, but the pasteurization has spoilt it somewhat.

Bright copper body with a small white head. Not much malt aromas just some citrus notes. Soft grapefruit in the taste with not a lot else, medium body but a little watery on the finish. Pretty simple but it drinks all right.

A Mes rate: It has been said many times before but I am not a fan of blondes. This is so so but no better. Nose and flavour are tollerable with all the hops and citric (mainly grapefruit) notes you would expect. Strangely there is a touch of something rather like bettered cod in the aroma too. Slight vanilla in the mouth too. Quite like the colour. Just on the English ale side of blonde. Finish is more flowery hops and that is about it. Standard stuff and nothing more. Worth a sip though.

Hmmmmmmm!!! One of those occasions you pick up the bottle with a feeling you are going to be dissapointed but buy it anyway. You get home pour the beer and find you have every right to be dissapointed but are more dissapointed you went ahead and paid for it in the first place!! Not the blonde colour I was expecting more a pale gold. The citrus notes I thought were very strong and did not combine well with the hoppy aroma and taste. Could do better!!
