Adnams Explorer captures the spirit of discovery by blending Chinook and Columbus hops with the New World. The citrus attack will burst on your palate. Fantastic served chilled and the fruity hoppiness of the beer means that it goes well with cleanly flavoured foods. Try it with salmon, vegetarian options and with summer salads. (Contains barley). Silver medal winner at the 2015 Great British Beer Festival. Bottle. Filtered and pasteurised.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2009 500ml bottle from Morrisons. Copper colour with lasting off white head. Yeasty and citric hop nose with some sweet caramel. Soft in mouth, bit of candy sugar, some more caramel and more citrus hop on the end with some lemon and yeast. The hops are quite zesty. Certainly better than the cask version I had. 3.2/5 Re-rate bottle in Tesco, certainly more hoppy, more pronounced grapefruit and other citrus fruits. Something that I have actually chosen to buy for the train ride home rather than having to put up with something.
